NML is a business owned by National Milk Records plc (NMR). NMR is Europe's largest milk recording organisation, providing management information on individual cow's performance in terms of milk quality, yield and fertility.

NMR's shareholder base primarily comprises of dairy farmers following the issue of shares in the company to all active dairy farmers in 1984. The NMR Group is managed by a board of directors which includes three directors who are farmers themselves.

The NML management team have an unrivalled level of experience in both the GB dairy industry and laboratory management so are well placed to ensure the needs of NML customers are recognised and fulfilled.
